MuxLab’s New DigiSign Software Creates and Controls Digital Signage 4K Content

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, IBC STAND A.30 – Marking a significant move into the Digital Signage space, MuxLab brings its new HDMI 2.0 Digital Signage Media Player (model 500769) with Digisign Software supporting Content Management Software (CMS) allowing a full week of automated content playback to IBC.  With it, end users can create, manage and control their content from a variety of sources, including content streaming via the H.264/H.265 codec over a local Ethernet network, the Internet, internal memory as well as external USB 3.0 memory devices.

“We worked very hard to create a software system that delivers an exceptional user experience,” explained MuxLab’s Director of Product Management, Joe Teixeira. “While it is simple to use, it also comes with advanced features that should satisfy even the most experienced integrator.”

Video is output up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) and delivered to a local display or to one of MuxLab’s AV over IP-based extenders to create a distributed video wall and matrixed system. It functions as part of a complete end to end solution, taking AV from various sources and on to various displays.

Using a simple graphical interface with multi-view window layouts, users can easily assign audio, video and images to each multi-view window, including text banners and logos, to their digital signage system. Up to five multi-view windows may be created, sized and assigned content to be simultaneously displayed. Content can be scheduled for the week, with additional weeks ready to automatically play, offering a “set and forget” functionality. Content can be quickly scheduled and can play simultaneously from multiple sources, including its internal memory, external USB memory, from a local Ethernet network and the Internet.

DigiSign works with Windows, iOS and Android systems.
