NAB 2018 News: MuxLab Announces Convenient New Solution for Monitoring Video Feeds

NAB SHOW, LAS VEGAS, NV – MuxLab unveiled its new HDMI/3G-SDI Triple Display (model 500840) at NAB this year. This rack-mount solution takes up two spaces on a standard 19-inch rack and can support three five-inch TFT LCD displays. The ability to view three screens at a time makes it easy for broadcasters to see and measure video performance from remote cameras and other video feeds while saving a significant amount of space. Multiple types of displays are supported including 3G-SDI, 1080p HDMI and composite video with audio.

Each display mount comes equipped with its own dedicated tri-color Tally light indicator. Customizable buttons can be uniquely configured for each display, with support for advanced functions such as Center Marker, Safe Frames, Check Field, Focus Assist, Aspect Ratio, Image Flip, P2P and Image Freeze. The Triple Display also supports analog audio L/R inputs for each display with audio 3.5mm jacks for audio-out headphone connections.

“This is a convenient and flexible solution that serves the needs of broadcast facilities as well as film and television studios,” explained MuxLab’s Director of Product Management, Joe Teixeira. “It can also be combined with MuxLab’s Signal Generator and Signal Analyzer to better serve in AV testing environments.”
Installation is simple, and all tools to mount the device are included. Firmware updates are accessible via mini USB connectors.
