MuxLab’s Next Gen AV over IP Extender Offers Multi-View Functionality

INFOCOMM 2018, LAS VEGAS, BOOTH N538 – MuxLab’s new HDMI over IP H.264/H.265 PoE Extender (model 500762) delivers 4K at low latency through an Ethernet switch. It supports the connection of hundreds of sources and displays, now offering advanced video wall features and multi-view capability for an engaging visual experience. It connects and routes AV from LAN, Wi-Fi and Internet video streams, including the H.264/265 video codec at 1080p, through the Ethernet Switch to the displays, up-scaling content to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4). Any source can be delivered to one, a few or all displays with complete multi-viewing capability allowing picture in picture combinations of any arrangement on a single display or on a video wall.

The on-board USB 3.0 connector allows for the storing and playback of content from an external drive. With the introduction of a device locator, the system can be installed in mere minutes. Depending on network bandwidth, hundreds of sources and displays can be supported with a 4K signal delivery boasting less than 200ms latency. Digital SPDIF audio is provided on each receiver and external two-channel analog audio can be inserted at the source and remotely extracted. When paired with the new MuxLabControl app, users can access and control the entire system using a smart tablet or phone, making video wall installations almost effortlessly easy.
