CEDIA NEWS: MuxLab Showcases Solutions for Streaming AV over IP Anywhere

SAN DIEGO, CA, CEDIA Booth 4654 – MuxLab’s newest AV over IP solutions will be featured in booth 4654, including a live demo streaming uncompressed 4K/60 over an Ethernet network for 24/7 connectivity. The AV over IP 4K/60 Uncompressed Extender (model 500760) sends HDMI and DisplayPort video at 4K@60Hz to hundreds of source and displays destinations via a 10Gig Ethernet switch. Integrators can create 4K video walls, virtual matrix switch and splitter configurations supporting potentially hundreds of displays, using one receiver for each display. Equipment on both sender and receiver sides can be connected up to 330 feet from the 10Gig Ethernet switch via CAT5e/6 cable for added convenience. Two-channel audio can also be embedded and extracted.

The HDMI over IP H.264/H.265 PoE Extender (model 500762) supports HDMI at 4K@60Hz up to 330 feet using CAT5e/6 cable in a point-to-point configuration. When connected to an Ethernet network, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint configurations are established in a low bandwidth, expandable and cost effective manner, leveraging the existing network cable infrastructure. This product boasts exceptionally low bandwidth requirements, allowing AV streaming anywhere via local Ethernet networks, Wi-Fi or Internet connectivity anywhere around the world. The transmitter accepts a 1080p@60Hz input and streams content to the receiver, where the signal is scaled up to 4K@60Hz. The receiver also accepts H.264/H.265 video streams from other devices up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) and supports a USB 3.0 Type A connector for storing and playback of content from an external USB drive. PoE eliminates separate power requirements to simplify the installation.
