4K Content Streaming is Championed by MuxLab

ISE 2019, RAI AMSTERDAM– MuxLab makes it easy to stream 4K AV anywhere with its new 4K AV over IP Transmitter supporting the H.264/265 video codec. The HDMI over IP H.264/H.265 PoE Transmitter, 4K/30 (model 500763-TX) works by connecting all sources to displays through an Ethernet switch riding on a LAN, Wi-Fi or the Internet.  This allows users to seamlessly access their content, switch sources, create video walls and more with just the touch of a button. It works with all AV sources up to 4K @ 30Hz resolution, including H.264/H.265 IP cameras, media players, computers, laptops, projectors, Blu-Ray players and set-top boxes.

By connecting to an Ethernet switch, users can create distributions of virtually matrixed displays and even massive video walls that support multi-views. This transmitter boasts exceptionally low bandwidth requirements, and high image quality with less than 200ms latency in low latency mode when streaming. Because the scope of the system is limited only by network bandwidth, potentially hundreds of sources and displays can be integrated into the same system for the ultimate in scalability.

Each of MuxLab’s transmitters connect equipment to a network from up to 100m in distance using a standard CAT5e/6 cable. Once on the network, they work with MuxLab’s H.264/H.265 Receivers (model 500762) to deliver content to one, a few or multiple displays. Video may be up-scaled to 4K@60Hz from 1080p@60Hz or 4K@30Hz for beautiful imagery. Two channel audio is embedded and rides alongside HDMI to the display or can be extracted at the Receiver.

The HDMI over IP H.264/H.265 PoE Transmitter, 4K/30 eliminates the need for dedicated cabling systems while PoE eliminates additional power supplies at local and remote locations.  It can also send H.264/H.265 video streams to other H.264/H.265 compatible receiving devices.

When used with MuxLab’s ProDigital Network Controller (model 500811), every piece of equipment can be managed, accessed and controlled from anywhere using a laptop, smartphone or tablet. The new MuxControl App, available for both iOS and Android, increases mobility with intuitive control. This system can also be integrated with third party Apps, and controlled via traditional RS232 and bi-directional IR.
