MuxLab Showcases Easy Ways to Create Scalable 4K Video Walls from Streaming Media at InterBEE

INTERBEE, JAPAN, HALL 4, BOOTH 4203 Together with their local distributor Japan Material Co., MuxLab will showcase its AV over IP expertise in delivering streaming 4K content with zero latency when traveling on an IP-based infrastructure.

At booth 4203, MuxLab and Japan Material will demonstrate how easy it is to create scalable, plug and play video walls with streaming content via the H.264/H.265 protocol. Using MuxLab’s HDMI over IP H.264/H.265 PoE Transmitters, 4K/30 (model 500763-TX) content will be delivered via HDMI up to 100m to a local Ethernet network, and output to four displays via MuxLab’s HDMI over IP H.264/H.265 PoE Receivers (model 500762-RX).  This will create a 2×2 video wall that could be upscaled as needed by adding in equipment. The receiver delivers AV up to 4K@60Hz to displays in point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint configurations. Video wall and multi-view capabilities are supported by this combination of transmitter and receiver as a cost-effective solution. Exceptionally low bandwidth requirements allow for streaming AV over a local network, Wi-Fi and the Internet. The receiver accepts H.264/H.265 video streams up to 4K@60Hz. Video is up-scaled from 1080p@60Hz or 4K@30Hz to 4K@60Hz for stunning 4K imagery.

Remote control of the video wall from any smart device is enabled with the MuxControl app, working with the MuxLab ProDigital Network Controller. The app provides mobile access to all the control capabilities that the Network Controller offers. MuxControl supports the multi-view features available when creating video walls, giving users complete control even very complex video wall configurations. All of this is managed in a visually appealing system that can be configured to any unique environment. Users can use a room template or simply take a photo of their location and upload it. Next, they select their equipment and place it on the layout, which vastly simplifies system control. For those managing AV systems in different rooms or installations on the same network, a new feature allows users to swipe right between rooms that have been created in the app, great for quickly accessing different systems.  Users can pre-load control commands and execute them with a touch of a button. Displays can be powered on and content can be assigned to display(s).  MuxControl allows users to create their own unique, virtual controls. Buttons can be customized by size, color, placement and shape to make a remote control created by the user, for the user.

Also on display is MuxLab’s 8 Button IP PoE Control Panel (model 500816-IP), a versatile wall or table-top mounted control panel for AV over IP equipment.  Each button is programmable and allows integrators to vastly streamline the installation environment while providing Ethernet, RS-232, IR and Relay ports. The control panel buttons can be configured and managed via web interface allowing individual programming and IR learning.
