A leader in AV over IP and professional AV solutions, MuxLab today announced it has teamed with German-based New Media AV to supply system integration companies and AV installers with MuxLab equipment. New Media AV distributes both hardware and software solutions for the professional video, postproduction and broadcast sectors.
Under this agreement, MuxLab’s entire portfolio of AV over IP, commercial and pro AV products will be available throughout Germany. To kick off the partnership, MuxLab’s International Sales Manager, Benoit Charles, led a comprehensive training with NMAV’s sales team to make sure the key differentiators of the MuxLab product line are locally promoted. Both MuxLab and NMAV will be exhibiting at IBC in halls 3 and 10 respectively.
“For us, the partnership with MuxLab is a logical step into the direction of signal distribution over IP,” says Janosch Riemann, Channel Manager OEM, Systems & Integration at New Media AV. “MuxLab has convinced us with their unrivaled spectrum of transmission options via networks. Be it zero-latency via ST2110 for broadcast integration, or low-bandwidth H.264/H.265 for AV installations, MuxLab bridges these sectors optimally.”
“At IBC, we’ll showcase our award-winning DigiSign CMS and our 4K Media Player that manages content from streaming sources via the H.264/H.265 codec in addition to our wide portfolio of AV over IP solutions,” says MuxLab’s Charles. “Combined with new offerings like our 4K AV over IP Transmitter, which allows users to seamlessly switch sources, create video walls and more using H.264/H.265 IP cameras, media players, laptops and more, these types of products deliver the kind of innovations that matched perfectly with NMAV’s long term vision.”
Tobias Trummer, managing director of New Media AV, adds: “We are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with MuxLab. We know about the importance of IP technology in the area of AV installations. The potential in the broadcast, cine, and TV sectors that IP already possesses and will develop in the future is enormous.”
