MuxLab Debuts Streamlined AV over IP Solutions at InfoComm that Enhance Installation Options and Improve User Experiences
MuxLab debuts two new IP-based Wall Plate solutions supporting 4K signal delivery in a sleek enclosure that looks great installed in any environment. The HDMI/VGA/USB over IP PoE Wall Plate Transmitter, UHD-4K (model 500777-TX-WH) provides an attractive, wall-mounted interface for AV sources using HDMI and VGA interfaces to connect to a local Ethernet connection. The USB 2.0 port allows the connection and support of laptops and other USB devices. All signals are delivered via the network to the HDMI/USB over IP PoE Wall Plate Receiver, UHD-4K (model 500777-RX-WH), also mounted on a wall where HDMI displays, smart whiteboards and other USB devices are placed. This receiver supports video resolutions up to 3840×2160 @ 30Hz. Both wall plates allow the connection of HDMI and USB equipment from up to 330 ft (100m) away. Distances between transmitter and receiver may be further extended when based on the Ethernet network. An RS232 port on the receiver plus a directional IR port allows remote access and management of end devices.
“MuxLab continues to earn its status as the leader in AV over IP technology,” says Joe Teixeira, Director of Product Management, MuxLab. “With real world experience that spans a decade, we continue to work closely with our distribution and integration partners to deliver exceptional user experiences.”
Dante-Enabled IP Infrastructures
Attendees are invited to stop by booth 2575 to see the debut of MuxLab’s HDMI/Dante over IP PoE Transmitter, UHD-4K (model 500759-TX-Dante). This new solution delivers HDMI at up to 4K@30Hz with Dante audio signals to create an independently distributed AV network. Hundreds of displays and various video wall configurations are supported, depending on network bandwidth. Audio can be independently distributed to hundreds of Dante supported audio devices.
HDMI 2.0 over IP, 4K/60
Also debuting at InfoComm is the MuxLab HDMI 2.0 over IP PoE Extender, 4K/60 (model 500779). This unique transceiver may be configured to operate as a transmitter or receiver to deliver HDMI at up to 4K (3840×2160) @ 60Hz (4:4:4) via a 1Gbps Ethernet Switch. AV can be delivered in one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many configurations when riding on the IP-based network. HDMI sources and displays can connect to the transmitter and receiver from up to 330ft (100m) away for added flexibility. One directional IR port and an RS232 port allow for the remote control of end devices. Plus, two-channel audio can be inserted and extracted separately.
