Overview:

The 500811 software release version 1.4.8 is focused on adding a number of new features which have been requested by customers to enhance ease of use and add new capabilities.

Release details:

- A new Operator user level is now supported, in addition to the existing Administrator level. The Administrator level user continues to have unlimited access, and is able to add/update/delete additional Administrator accounts, and Operator level accounts. Note however that the system will not allow the last remaining Administrator account to be deleted. An Operator level user has limited access rights, and is restricted from configuring or changing settings on the system, but has access to connectivity related activities such as connecting and disconnecting sources to and from displays.

- The system now supports a password recovery feature, which allows for a user who has forgotten his or her password to be able to recover and regain access via a set procedure. Once the user presses Forgot Password, the user is instructed to follow a set process making use of an encrypted code that is made availabe. MuxLab uses the encrypted code to generate a temporary password, in order to allow the user temporary access. This temporary password will only allow access for a limited time, and the user must change his or her password once access is granted.

- Added the ability to edit the Video Wall Configuration ID (vwConfigID) for the video wall devices (models 500754 & 500759 as of this release).

- Added the ability to edit the Preset ID (presettID).

- Added the ability to edit the Target ID (targetID), which is also referred to as the System ID (systemID).

- The user can now make use of the "Enter" key during login. Note that the mouse click action is still supported as well.

- The video wall page now sorts the Transmitter row and the Receiver row, to make it easier for the user to find a giver device.

- When managing and setting up the video wall, the Administator is now provided with a display showing the net "Shift" & "scale" values for each devices in the video wall. In addition this page supports a Reset button to reset the "shift" and "scale" values back to "0".

- A new Tab was added allowing the user direct access to the "Video Wall" page.

- The Database version has been updated to version 1.1.1

- A "Select All" button and "Deselect All" button is supported within the Video Wall page to quickly select/deselect all video wall devices with a single mouse click.

- RS232 commands sent via IP through the 500811 are now supported on the 500757 device.
